Small Stories is intentionally different from traditional family photography.

Small Stories are quick, studio-based sessions focused entirely on personality.

No pressure to sit still.
No expectation to “smile perfectly.”

Just space for your child to be themselves, and for that to be documented honestly.
Small Stories sessions are offered on a select date each month in my Indianapolis studio.

How is this different from a family session?
Small Stories is focused only on your child. It’s simpler, shorter,
and designed to capture personality rather than full family storytelling.

Can siblings be included?
Yes. Siblings can be scheduled together, but each child is photographed
individually so their personality has space to shine.

Can siblings be photographed together?
These sessions are designed for individual portraits, but we can grab a quick sibling photo if time allows.

What if my child is shy?
That’s completely okay. These sessions are designed to meet kids where they are.

What should my child wear?
Simple is best - black or white. 

Are the images black and white?
Small Stories is built around a timeless, simple look, often in black and white,
with some images offered in color depending on the package you choose.

Where do sessions take place?
Small Stories sessions take place in my studio in Indianapolis at The Stutz.

If you’re booking online for
more than one child:
• Please reserve one time slot per child
• Choose back-to-back times when possible

A $100 credit will be applied for each additional child after booking.
